What Is This Plugin For?
This plug-in is for all Windows® based AIM® Enabled clients like AIM® 6.8 and 6.9. NOTE: This plugin will NOT work in AIM 7.0.
What Does It Do?
Lets your primary and linked screen names sign on as invisible from the start. Once online, you can set the visibility state of each screen name by clicking on the eyeball.
It also makes sure you never see the AIM Today Page and suppresses the auto response messages.
Features
- Real Quick IM: Send "yt?" or a custom message to your buddy from the "Send a Real Quick IM" context menu of the buddy list.
- The default message is "yt?".
- You can optionally enable a dialog prompt to customize the message.
- You can drag a buddy to the Real Quick IM window to change the message recipient.
- Automatically sign in invisibly if you sign in during the first eight minutes of Windows startup. Use this if your client starts when you start Windows. NOTE: The eight minutes starts as soon as Windows is functional and not after you sign in to Windows.
- Automatically checks for plug-in updates.
- Lets you sign-on invisibly (optionally).
- Holding down the control key during sign-on until you hear a beep (one per screen name)
lets you temporarily invert your sign-on invisibly preference.
- Suppresses any auto-response message when you receive IMs while idle or away.
- Makes sure you never see the AIM Today Page.
- Visibility Window: Automatically makes you visible or invisible at the times you specify.
Just check the times, in half-hour or hourly increments, that you are visible. The plug-in will then enforce this visibility window.
- Settings dialog lets you select which options to enable and check for updates.
