About

This plugin will show you the running cost of a meeting. Just enter the number of attendees and their average hourly cost (e.g. average hourly wage) and click start. The plugin will update the cost of the meeting second by second. Try it out at your next meeting.

Features

• Shows the cost and elapsed time of the meeting
• You can pause and resume a running meeting at any time
• Saves the state of the plugin so that it can resume even when you are not displaying the plugin
• Running cost is displayed in taskbar when plugin is undocked and minimized
• Set a custom status message based on the current cost of your meeting with optional automatic update every five minutes.
• Set a custom final cost status message when you end your meeting.
• Saves the active and final status messages so you can use them again in your next meeting.

Using This Plugin

Enter the number of attendees and the average hourly cost per attendee in the provided input boxes. You can change these values at any time. All changes will be retroactively applied to the start of the meeting.

To start the clock, press the start button. You can pause and resume the meeting at any time. Clicking on pause will stop the clock which can then be resumed by clicking the same button. The reset button is used to stop the clock and reset the elapsed time to zero.

You don't have to leave the plugin window open in order to keep a meeting clock running. You can even exit AIM and return at a later time and still see the accumulated cost since the time the meeting started.

To set a status message, just hover over the "Status Message..." link and select the desired option in the popup menu. To end the meeting with a final cost message, just select the "End Meeting... " option and edit the message. The active and end of meeting status messages are saved so you can edit these once and use them for all your meetings.
