About Gus Verdun

This blog is dedicated to the expression of some of my ideas on software, software development, the Web, and on the insights I can share with you on Open AIM and AIM 6.x.

I am a System Architect at AOL working in the AIM 6.0 Application Team. This means that my focus is on the User Interface (UI) side of the product.

Prior to AOL, I worked for a private R&D firm developing software for LIDAR applications and other things for the military.

I have a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park.

I am the author of the IM Control Panel and the RX-Plugin and CoreWitness plug-ins for AIM Enabled clients (like AIM 6.0) which is are covered on this blog.
