Using the Send Calendar Feature in RX-Plugin

Thanks for all the feedback on this new feature. The /cal (send calendar) command accepts optional numeric parameters for month [1-12] and year. To send a calendar for another month of the current year, just add the month’s number after “/cal ”. Here are some examples:

/cal 7

Sends the July calendar of the current year.

/cal 7 2009

Sends the July 2009 calendar. You must specify the month if you want to specify the year.

How about a /cal -3 to display the set of three months of this, the previous, and next (stolen from BSD’s ‘cal’)

  2. Gus Says:

Matthew, great idea. The question is should I show the three calendars horizontally or vertically? Horizontal is my choice, but users will have to widen their windows a bit to see them this way.

Horizontally makes most sense to me. I don’t suppose AIM lets you do table formats or anything else that would allow you to specify each calendar as an individual ‘unit’?

If not, it should look neat if the window width is exactly two calendar’s worth :-)
