Lets Build A Plugin For AIM
Today I am going to start by inviting all of you to join me in designing a plug-in. The deal is this: I am your developer. You tell me the features you want, and if I think I can do it, I will estimate the effort, design it, and make it happen. The end result, is a plug-in that we can all use and share. I hope that the effort can be concluded within 60 days. (Remember, I can only work on this in my spare time.)
The plug-in I propose to make is based on an idea that has been around for a while. I want to add the ability in AIM to let you paint on an image that you and your buddy can see in real-time.
Does this sound like a good idea? Remember this plug-in is for you. What would you do with such a plug-in? Draw lines? stamp icons? Write secret messages? What shall we name it?

I would want to be able to paste an image in to draw on top of.

Austein, I agree. My idea is to have a single image that can be set by either side. In live-draw mode all drawing is updated in real-time and each side of the interaction draws in its own layer so that you can remove either layer to expose the background. Erasing will apply to both layers. There will also be a snapshot mode where either side can draw something locally and when its all done hit send to transmit the overlay in one step.

I would want to have a cloning plug in for aim 6, im tired of linked screen names which only shows 1 buddy list only for both of em.

I think you mean 1 buddy list at a time. What is wrong with this?

im use to deadaim and having 2 buddy list showing at the same time plus linked screen names sometimes i get confused at which buddylist im on.
