A better goim rule…
Since this is a new year, I thought it would be a great time to improve one of the original RX-Plugin rules.
The “goim” rule let you send a screen name as a link so that your buddy could click it in order to open an IM with that new buddy. Thus, saving your buddy the effort to copy and paste the screen name into an IM form.
It worked like this: You typed “im(buddy)” anywhere in your message, where “buddy” is the screen name you wanted to send as a link. The result would look like this:

There are a couple of ways to improve this rule: a) The old rule linked the name instead of the action which did not make it obvious what the link did, and b) it could also provide a link to let the receiver add the buddy to the buddy list instead of just open an IM window.
Here is how the new, goim2, rule looks:

You may see a rule conflict window when you import the above rule, just select the replace option to replace the old rule with this one.
